Its not talk exactly but simply a waste of time.. Introduction to t20 just fancies its viewers but can never replace the real cricket. The News channels call it " FATAAFAT cricket" !
Commercially its been a big hit so not many people would agree with me. Introduced in june 2003 amongst UK county teams , the game picked up fast and turned into a billion dollar baby in no time. Girls and women too watch this form of cricket. With india out of T20 world cup 09 already there is nothing much left to watch. The matches have started to bore opposite of what they were meant to be. Much credit goes to IPL and ICL . Big money and names are involved in IPL so its the favourite. Mukesh Ambani and Vijay Mallaya got their teams in IPL , i m not sure if they could tell a signal for a dead ball or a no ball infact before IPL.. and why they got this, definitely money.. it ain't any cricket love. :P
Once my cousin prompted during an IPL match " inn matches ka kuch faayda hai!!" .. i had to think but to say something i said" jo naye log khel rhe hain unke liye hai, they get a recognization" and i agree with this. But what else !! Though i enjoyed these matches in BITS. U have people supporting one or the other team. "To jiski team haare usko "kilsaa kilsaa" ke maar daalo :D ( akhil , no offence dude, par sachin ko aur responsibilty dikhani chahiye thi :P ) .
I remember 2003 worldcup. India lost . Even if india would have won, i wont have gained anything. But it felt bad! But if delhi wins or looses in IPL, i dont give it a *.( maintaining the decency ppl :P)! and i dont even no the names of teams in ICL!!

Although the format has proved successful, it has been argued that since Twenty20 encourages far-from-technical cricket; youngsters wanting to pick up the game will be misguided into believing that cricket is all about trying to hit 6s and 4s no matter how you do it. Also it may create the misconception that cricket is a batsman’s game and there is little incentive learning how to bowl since it is the bowlers that are usually at the receiving end, leading to fewer youngsters taking up bowling.

Now in T20 u dont see class players in Indian side , so its no fun for me watching India aswell. If a game is delayed , then just a 6 overs per side game!! I mean is it a joke?? What do u get to see in a 6-6 overs match, the ticket buyers feel cheated. I feel its been tooooo much of T20 and its started on showing on everyone. Everyone needs a break, the players; spectators ; but not the 'sponsers' :P .
Test matches rock great time. U get 5 day non stop cricket . U get to see everything thats called cricket. 100-200 runs by a batsman . 5-10 wicket haul by a bolwer. ODI's also entertain and 'test' well.
Now with India-West Indies series coming up , i hope to see some cricket again. Certainly after very long time!!

N.U.M.B.E.R.S
If u think not much to talk about "NUMBERS", maybe u evolve after this one.
When i start counting where do 'numbers' occur in my life i start with counting. :)
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 ** 12 13 14 ........ right then i received a blow on cheeks :( "11 kaun bolega" my mother would say. It went on for several times but i learnt not to skip it, maybe the eleventh time :P . Since then many sorts of 'numbers' entered my life. I was preity (hey abhitesh, hw r u doing? ;D) good with 'numbers' at school, but could never get the number "100" in any subject. Tough i stuck to "99" 2-3 times.
I had got a scooty number in 6th standard and then a bike number in 10th B-) . And 2 is the number when i met with accidents on them. :P
Just after 12th i was mounted by all important numbers for that phase of life. I was amongst the 11 (same old number :D ) of 90 who got selected in the M NDA 81245 SSB Batch. B-) .. Then there came numbers which included my ranks and score in diff exams .. I got into BITS with a number of 310 .
Today ppl swim deep in numbers .. U got to remember many telephone numbers, then birthdates which are quite imp. :) , then ur phone balance , then ur CGPA (i wish i could forget about this one :( ) , then price tags, number of girlfriends for some :D , time is constructed of numbers mind u, most imp. for placed are the bank a/c numbers :P and for ppl studying is the number they could fetch when they get a job.
The most imp. of all numbers for all categories is the number which the note u carry bears. All the rat race is to get the biggest number on urs. Thats where all the headache and pleasure comes from.
What if sometime u puzzled all the numbers?? . What if u forgot what numbers are u associated to?? . Feel the fear of some numbers erasing from your mind, thats what i want to say.. What difference could it make to your life.. Certainly u would realize their importance and 'how much there can be to talk about numbers'. :)
For everyone i wish they get all the numbers in life that statisfy them. :)
